TURAKI AND THE EMIR OF DAWA

Turaki and the Emir of Dawa is a story about insurgency in the town of Dawa, near Kano. In order not to suffer the fate of many victims of extra-judicial killings by soldiers drafted to fight the insurgents, Turaki proposed an amnesty for sect members that are ready to renounce jihad and be part of a peace process that will be supported by the government.
