Kester wrote to me about Amira, popularly called
“Mrs. Chibok.” She was one of Chibok’s popular socialites
and community leaders. She was friends with Rekyia, the
wife of Mo, principal of Chibok grammar school. She had
an orphanage that made headlines when officials of the
Red Cross visited it and donated medicines, furniture and
money for mendicant children.
